3 years ago I got a set of these at Midas for $450 installed with 102,000 miles on my 2003 Chevy Silverado (they were out of the Cooper’s I wanted originally and I needed tires put on ASAP for a trip). These tires are ugly, but that’s not a huge concern for me, however they haven’t stood the test of time as well as many other budget tires I’ve purchased before. The first 10k miles they ran well, but my truck just turned over 118,000 miles (so I’ve put 16k miles on the tires) and they’re already down to 35% tread, dry rot splitting between the tread and sidewalls, and they’re like driving on ice when it’s raining. My truck is garage kelp and I rotate tires every 5k myself. These are plain and simply budget tires to the extreme. Next time I will go with a recognized name brand.

Tires were new on a program car I purchased from a dealer, I always run Michelin Defenders on my town&country so I was very concerned when I learned Sailuns were Chinese but I tried them because they were on the Pacifica. Very impressive tire, they are as good if not better than the Michelin's, in my opinion, after 8k miles. They appear to be wearing very well, but only time will tell.

I have put 10k miles on these tires. Very impressed. They ride very smooth and I havent noticed any tire wear at my first rotation. I like them so I have decided to put a set on my Infiniti QX60. Will give an up when that happens.
