NeoTires

The BFGoodrich Winter Slalom is a winter, studded, a radial model with improved stability and excellent handling. This tire is specially designed for harsh winter conditions and therefore provides excellent traction on icy, snowy, and muddy road surfaces.

The unique rubber compound that was used in the production of the tread allowed the rubber to remain soft and flexible even at very low temperatures. A specially designed tread pattern using computer simulation has increased cross-country ability and controllability, due to optimally located blocks.

The combination of the tread pattern and the new rubber compound significantly increased hydroplaning resistance and provided more efficient braking and driving on snowy road surfaces. Massive blocks located in the shoulder area and a reinforced three-layer carcass increased the reliability of the tire, as well as resistance to external damage. Three central rows of blocks provide excellent control and increased stability. A large number of lamellas, in addition to excellent grip, provide a more comfortable ride, reducing noise levels. The BFGoodrich Winter Slalom tire undergoes rigorous quality control and meets world-class standards.

A large number of microgrooves and a multi-row asymmetric tread pattern provide excellent tire grip, both on icy and snowy road surfaces. The increased rigidity of the blocks provides the tread with an increased number of cutting edges, which increase the braking and traction performance on an icy road surface. The reinforced shoulder area reliably protects the tire from various damages and increases its service life. Deeper channels between blocks increase self-cleaning, resulting in increased permeability.

Michelin, which manufactures the BFGoodrich WINTER SLALOM T/A tires, markets them as "capable of tearing the track and guaranteeing safety even in the most extreme driving conditions." In the lineup, plus tires will replace the 2015 development, as a reminder of which it was decided to leave the directional tread pattern left unchanged.

The manufacturer has already appeared for the first time in its 2015 premiere, the BFGoodrich, "the best all-season UHP tires in the entire history of the brand." It is not surprising, because the tire, in addition to the first-class grip on dry and wet asphalt, provides reliable contact with snowy roads in summer.

ETEC system

If you know anything about the brand's products, then you are probably familiar with the BFGoodrich WINTER SLALOM, a high-performance summer tire designed for sports cars. Since both tires (BF Goodrich and BF Goodrich WINTER SLALOM Sports) have almost the same name, it goes without saying that their construction is the same. But while the  tires are only effective in warm weather, the all-season  A/S promises high performance in light snow.

Improved contact patch shape

The BF tires are manufactured with proprietary UltiGrip technology, which allows the all-season rubber compound with a high silica content to withstand wide temperature fluctuations. This means that the tires of this model retain their first-class grip in all weather conditions.

Optimized shoulder areas

The directional tread pattern is also designed to provide excellent all-season traction. V-shaped sloped shoulder grooves and longitudinal circumferential channels effectively evacuate water from the contact patch, while guaranteeing a good grip on wet asphalt. Extra-large transverse drainage grooves and beveled blocks provide additional traction on snowy road surfaces.

Square profile

Optimization of tread block stiffness resulted in improved load distribution in the contact patch, and the reinforced "armored" internal structure of WINTER SLALOM WINTER SLALOM All Season - improved control over the road situation while maintaining ride comfort. Reinforced sidewalls reduce rolling distortion and provide quick steering responses.

The patented compound of the BFGoodrich Winter Slalom KSI tire is perfect for both winter and autumn conditions. Micropores in the rubber compound provide a special mechanism that provides a long-term grip on icy and snowy surfaces. The increased stability of the blocks provides excellent handling and increased durability, as well as excellent cornering and braking behavior on various road surfaces.

Key features of the BFGoodrich Winter Slalom

- The high density of the sipes provides excellent grip on any road surface and reduces the braking distance;

- Specially selected tread depth in the shoulder area provides more efficient removal of water, melted snow and dirt from the contact patch and increases tire flotation.

- Large positive profile and special rubber compound increase traction on icy road surfaces and increase service life;

- A specially reinforced carcass and the presence of massive blocks in the shoulder area increase the resistance to external damage.
