Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring is an asymmetric all-season tire designed for a wide range of passenger cars.

All-season Goodyear Assurance ComforTred model for premium cars. It is characterized by increased comfort and durability. The manufacturer guarantees a mileage with preservation of properties up to 80 thousand miles.

The non-directional tread is represented in the central area by three ribs, which have an integral structure and are complemented by numerous notches. This achieves good handling with a high level of grip. At the same time, excess moisture, snow, and dirt from the contact area are removed using the tubules, maintaining the adhesion at the same level.

A distinctive feature is the special arrangement of the grooves, due to which the bulk of the arising noise is suppressed. And the soft compound does not allow vibrations to pass to the car body. As a result, the tire is characterized by increased comfort, even at high speeds.

Key Features:

- is installed on premium cars, providing a high level of comfort;

- has a long period of operation with a manufacturer's warranty up to 80 thousand miles;

- maintains vehicle stability and good maneuverability at any speed;

- provides quick cleaning of the contact patch due to the developed system of lamellas and central channels.

According to the UTQG system, the tires were rated 620 / A / B and 580 / A / A (depending on the speed index). The guaranteed mileage resource ranges from 65,000 to 80,000 miles. Tires are available in diameters from R14 to R18.

Manageability Assurance ComforTred

The treadmill is divided into two dedicated dry and wet areas. Dual Aquachannel grooves in the center of the tread accelerate water drainage for reliable traction on wet asphalt. Heavyweight shoulder blocks improve dry maneuverability and reduce uneven wear. Rigid central ribs are responsible for directional stability and stability when driving in a straight line.

Comfort Goodyear

A special layer under the tire tread absorbs vibrations and minor shock loads. Resilient construction smooths out bumps and potholes for a more comfortable ride on rough roads. The compact arrangement of the blocks helps to reduce noise and rolling resistance.

They are characterized by a high level of comfort and good handling on wet and dry asphalt.

The new model in the ComforTred range has an asymmetrical tread pattern that provides the perfect balance of performance on both dry and wet surfaces. Numerous sipes and drainage grooves ensure effective removal of water from the contact patch, thereby guaranteeing reliable grip and protection from aquaplaning. The inner layer of the ComfortLayer tread has excellent cushioning properties and provides an average of 20% softer and more comfortable ride.

Another innovation is the special DualComfort zones located in the tread and sidewalls to optimize comfort and handling. The ComfortEdge technology, applied during the tire design phase, reduces vibration and improves straight-line stability and stability when maneuvering.

“We are delighted that other independent experts have recognized the superior performance and excellent value for money that our tires provide,” said Scott Rogers, director of marketing for Goodyear's passenger car tires. “When creating new products, we always focus on solutions that are technologically innovative, but also capable of bringing value to our customers.”

Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring has been named “the best touring tire in its price range”. “We especially liked the built-in tread layer as it gave this model the smoothest ride of any mid-range touring tire,” said Consumers Digest editors.

They have 43,000 miles & should get 65-70,000 miles(more?). Initially, I was very pleased with smoothness, traction, cornering & handling in all weather conditions, altho they were only fairly quiet. At their present wear, they still give good handling, tho wet road effects aren't as sure as when new. Noise has also increased. Been happy with the Goodyears, altho they cost $650, even after a $140 rebate (received quickly). The cost of new tires is the main reason I buy used tires now, with good results.
