The Sailun Atrezzo SVA1 is an impressive high performance tire. After researching the Sailuns, I replaced the Michelin Pilot XDAs with the Sailuns. The tread pattern is almost identical, but the Sailuns performance exceeded the Michelins, especially in high speed corners. I don't have any specs on the compound, but the better a tire sticks, the softer the compound, so the Sailuns do wear out fast. Since my Mercedes has staggered sizes (225 45 zr 17's front, 245 40 zr 17's rear), front to rear rotation is not possible. At 25,000 miles, the rear tires are still good for another 10,000+ miles, but the fronts are almost bald. This is not due to any suspension problems, in fact I installed an adjustable front suspension kit so the Benz could be aligned (they can not be aligned stock). An all wheel drive performance car will normally wear the front tires faster than the rears. While I try to avoid pot holes at all cost, it isn't always possible, so I give the sidewalls an A+ for durability.

If you are looking for a long wearing tire, the Atrezzo SVA1 isn't the best choice. If you are looking for outstanding performance from a street legal, standard highway tire, the Atrezzo SVA1 is hard to beat.
