NeoTires

The Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure all-season tire has been designed with the specifics of American pickup trucks in mind. Most of them are used not only on highways but also on country roads. At the same time, overseas car owners are not used to changing winter tires to summer ones and vice versa. To meet all of these requirements, Goodyear has created a model for literally "all occasions in life", using its design several advanced technologies and modern materials.

DuPont Kevlar Breaker

Presenting this model in the world press, the North American manufacturer highlighted the presence of a belt made of Kevlar fibers from Dupont. This material is distinguished by its exceptional mechanical strength, elasticity, and low weight. Its use in the manufacture of a breaker layer has improved several important performance characteristics. The main one is the amazing softness on the move, which was achieved without sacrificing reliability and carrying capacity. The latter indicator is at a very high level. The exception is 12 standard sizes of this model, which are marked with Pro-Grade. They are designed for heavy-duty pickups and differ from conventional versions by the presence of a double-layer belt made of Kevlar fibers.

Versatile open design protector

One of the distinguishing features of the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tread is that its design offers far more off-road performance than on-road. As with off-road models, it contains a large number of separate blocks, spaced at a considerable distance from each other, grouped into five longitudinal ribs. The presence of these components improves stability at high speed and also contributes to faster and more accurate tire responses to steering turns. At the same time, numerous blocks form a multitude of multidirectional clutch edges during movement, which ensures confident behavior on the country and slippery roads.

Multilayer sidewall construction

Another technology that has found application in this tire is Durawall. It is a reinforced tire sidewall structure consisting of several layers. The one on the outside is made of a tougher compound that is more resistant to punctures and cuts.

Reliable grip in sand and mud

This tire is characterized by good cross-country ability on soils with reduced load-bearing capacity. They are provided by the design of the shoulder areas. This part of the tread has an open design. But unlike the center of the tread pattern, the blocks located here have more massive dimensions. A significant part of these tread elements is located on the sidewalls, forming numerous grip edges on them. This design feature manifests itself most clearly when driving on earthy and sandy soils with an increased level of moisture, as well as in deep snow, providing the tire with reliable grip on such types of surfaces.

Sometimes less is more

SoundComfort technology ensures a quieter and more comfortable ride by reducing the noise level inside the car by 50% *.

To hear a noise at different volume levels, click the corresponding icons on the right side of the page. The SoundComfort tires have a built-in sound barrier. This acoustic barrier reduces tire vibration and dampens the internal noise of your vehicle while driving, which reduces in-cab noise in half compared to conventional tires *

What's the bottom line? A quieter, more comfortable ride for you and your passengers.

While driving in a car, many factors affect the noise level: wind, speed, road surface condition, running engine, noises in the structure, as well as tires. One of the main sources of noise in tires is resonance in the air cavity, which occurs due to vibration of the air inside the tire and is transmitted to the vehicle structure.

Goodyear SoundComfort technology directly reduces resonance within the tire air cavity.

The choice is clear

The advantage of SoundComfort technology is that the increased comfort level does not lead to a decrease in performance and other characteristics. These tires have the same warranty as standard tires, the tires can be repaired and the performance is just as good - the only difference is that these tires are ... much quieter.

These tires are produced in winter and summer versions.

Main features of Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar

- one or two layers of Kevlar in the belt give softness on the go, increase the resistance of the tread to punctures and cuts, and increase the carrying capacity;

- a universal tread pattern with an open non-directional design, optimized for use on all types of surfaces throughout the year;

- massive blocks of shoulder tread zones form numerous grip edges even on the sidewalls, due to which the tire demonstrates confident behavior on earthy and sandy soils;

- Puncture and cut-resistant multi-layer sidewall construction increases reliability and extends service life even under the most adverse operating conditions.

Reinforced construction

Tires of this series are not afraid of mechanical stress and can maintain an integral structure even after strong impacts. A multi-layered internal structure provides effective impact protection. The seamless belt and steel cord absorb impact energy, so the tread and sidewalls remain intact even after the wheels hit deep potholes, curbs, bumps, stones, and other obstacles.

Pros

  •     Clear and precise control.
  •     Enormous lateral pull.
  •     Very good acceleration and braking.

P
Were nail magnets from the day I bought them. Kevlar must mean "attract nails. Had to buy a 5th tire 2 weeks after purchase because of nail in upper sidewall.
