SP WINTER SPORT 3D - sports winter tire with a lot of sipes. Outside temperatures are well below zero degrees and the landscape is covered in snow. Although the road is dry, your driving instinct advises you to drive carefully as snow, ice or water may await you after every turn.

But what if you could equip your vehicle with tires that are optimized for snowy, icy, wet, and dry conditions? Could you then drive the way you wanted? The DUNLOP SP WINTER SPORT 3D offers optimal handling and stability when the road is snowy and high performance when it is dry.

The responsibility of Dunlop's engineers to deliver the best tires at all times has resulted in the SP WINTER 3D. It is a unique tire with three different sipes located in three different areas of the tire. For superior riding on snow, ice, wet and dry ground - sipes automatically respond to changing conditions. For example, a revolutionary new 3D lamella is revealed when working with ice and snow. It self-stabilizes and makes the best grip possible on winter roads. If the road is dry, it closes and takes care of greater stability at high speeds.

It is the culmination of the latest technology and allows drivers to get the most out of their vehicles in winter, whatever the road conditions.

Dunlop Touch and Silica-Plus Technologies

The number of different technologies used in the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires is a matter of utmost respect. An element that deserves special attention is the use of the patented Dunlop Touch system, which improves the "feel" of the road and influences more precise driving and control of the vehicle. Smooth maneuvers, in turn, are possible thanks to the used MRT technology, which evenly distributes the pressure between the tread and the surface, so the car adheres well to the road even in extreme weather conditions.

Japanese tires demonstrate excellent performance on dry, wet, and snow-covered asphalt in all climatic conditions.

Car winter tire Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D has a special rubber compound that allows the tire to remain soft at any negative temperatures. The directional tread pattern, combined with the drainage grooves, effectively mitigates the risk of aquaplaning and helps to drive more efficiently on wet asphalt. The distinctive features of this tire model include the presence of three different types of sipes that affect the car's handling in three different contact zones. The lamellas absorb moisture from under the contact patch, keeping the tire soft throughout its use. The central tread block, studded with sipes, is responsible for acceleration and braking on snow and ice. The sidewalls of the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D tire are responsible for handling stability and traction. The structure of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D includes a double steel belt (JLB technology) that optimizes the tire pressure and distributes it evenly for the best grip.

Friction rubber SP Winter Sport 3D has a directional tread pattern. The directional tread pattern is most often found in classic passenger car tires adapted for use in difficult weather conditions - it can perfectly remove water, snow, or slush. The shape of the directional grooves in the tread most often resembles the letters "V" or "U". The directional pattern of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D is characterized by 20% more resistance to aquaplaning compared to the asymmetric shape of the SP Winter Response model. The presented tires are designed based on advanced computer simulations, which allow you to get the highest level of performance.

The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires have been tested in the harshest northern conditions and are recognized by SSS (Severe Snow Service) requirements.

Features of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tire

  • a huge number of slats;
  • compliance with SSS requirements;
  • excellent performance on all winter sections of the road;
  • possibility of use at the lowest temperatures.

The Dunlop non-studded tire has repeatedly become a hit in winter sales and has achieved owner recognition in a short time. Domestic and foreign automobile publishers appreciate the advantages of the Japanese tire.

Acoustic comfort

The tire was developed using the Multi-Pitch Tread Design technology. Its essence lies in the optimized arrangement of the tread elements, in which the risk of resonance noise is minimal. This has a positive effect on acoustic comfort.

Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D winter tires provide:

  • good handling on winter roads;
  • optimal properties on dry surfaces;
  • the latest technology for maximum safety.

The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires have been designed to satisfy even the most demanding drivers who appreciate dynamic driving in winter conditions.

Disadvantages:

  • a little harsh for winter, but in moderation

T
Superb winter tire, braking is exceptional with minimal ABS activation. If you drive reasonably you will have no problem with snow and ice traction with these tires. Dry and wet traction is excellent for a winter tire and ride comfort/noise is comparable to any high performance winter tires.
