bought my first set in 2013 ($1050) after 14 000 km's and 3 years later ,the tires separated. the tire shop ordered another set of 4. i paid another $430 for the new set, same thing happened after 27 000 km's. so now I've paid $1500 for tires that I can't get more than 30 000 km's out of them. I have 7/32 of tread, they look new but they're junk! I would definitely not recommend these tires. from 0 km/h - 90 km/h my truck shakes ,wobbles and shimmies down the road. my truck is a 03 Silverado 4x4 with a whole new front end ,both sides upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, center link assembly, Pitman arm, shocks, CV axles, hubs. it's been professionally aligned. one tire needed 17 ounces of weight to get it somewhat balanced. this was all done from the same big name tire store. very unhappy and dissatisfied with these tires.
I am very impressed with these tires.
We had a historic snow and ice storm in our southern city and these tires perform fantastically in the slush and ice.
They also allow my Suburban to climb the hills on my ranch even when fully loaded with crew and tools.
I bought these tires for my old pickup after I decided not to go cheap. These tires were literally $3 more each than the Linglong Crosswinds I almost got stuck with. I'm glad I upgraded.
So far I am very impressed with the ride comfort, low noise level and fine traction in on-road driving, wet or dry. I can't yet comment on off-road, but I would note that if you're going to be frequently (or infrequently) in mud, buy a different tire. These aren't gonna get you very far, but they're ***NOT*** mud tires.
What they are, however, is a very well made and capable tire that I am proud to have on my old Chevy. I think you'll be satisfied if you give them a try.
I went to tire shop hoping to get another set of the Radial XTX tires, but they stopped carrying that tire, so I settled for the Trail 4SX. Great in snow, they do well in rain, they handle nicely in dry conditions and aren’t too noisey. But the tirewear, come on! I have about 11,000 miles on these tires and they’re down to about 50%, which is the first set of wear bats. I might make it until summer before it’s time for replacements.
The tire cost 130.00 a piece and all 4 tired wore out after 22,000 miles. I had to buy 5 because one blew a hole in the side. Another 125.00 and it wasn't the tire fault it just blew they said. Bad tire do not buy.
After checking out the info on Les Schwab tires online I was concerned about a tire handling
snow and ice condition which is present for 6-7 months a year. I have driven approximately 100 miles on them and was very pleased with the way they handled the winter roads. I was surprised to say the least, not to mention they look aggressive and the white letter look awesome.
I put these on my 97 Ford F-350 7.3 four wheel drive today. It's been raining for about two and a half hours and I couldn't pull a 15 foot 6 inch round tree.i got stuckin my yard also while trying to start out had to use 4 wheel drive. Worst tire i have ever bought. There is literally like 15 miles on them!!!
