The Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 H452, which was first shown to the public at SEMA 2012, is a luxury tire designed for premium medium and large passenger cars. One of the advantages of the new item is that it has a stylish asymmetric tread design that provides optimal handling while increasing ride comfort. In addition, Hankook engineers focused on combining improved ride quality with reduced vibration and noise, as well as increased service life.
The UHP tire Hankook H452 Ventus S1 Noble 2 is used in the summer season on light, medium, and large premium cars. The product behaves perfectly on a wet road surface, and is also suitable for use in winter, although it is more focused on operation in warm weather. The tire is stable in corners and provides a normal noise level. Good maneuverability is ensured by the increased rigidity of the tire structure.
Tread design
The tread pattern is asymmetric, non-directional. In the inner shoulder area, blocks are transversely located, providing a high level of lateral stability. The tread pattern also provides a continuous rib that is not crossed by drainage grooves. Thanks to him, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the level of noise generated by the tire.
On the blocks of the outer shoulder area, there are three-dimensional sipes, which, together with the blocks of grooves, increase the degree of adhesion. For this reason, the tire is quite suitable for winter use. There are jumpers between the blocks, which ensure the obedience of the product to every steering movement, as well as the safety of movement at high speeds on difficult road sections.
Drainage system
On the inner shoulder area, uniquely shaped blocks are located, which facilitate rapid drainage, thereby improving the quality of movement on wet road surfaces. In addition, this is facilitated by 4 annular channels and grooves connected to them, crossing the longitudinal ribs. Contact patch area has been increased to improve traction. Three-radius tread (3R System) and Stiffness Control Contour Theory (SCCT) for increased stability and control at high speeds
Interlocking 3D sipes increase tread rigidity during acceleration, braking, and cornering for improved steering response and increased safety
Tire profile optimized to reduce vibration and provide the most comfortable driving experience
A five-step tread pattern with unevenly spaced blocks reduces noise. Noise Evaluation System (NES) simulates tread design for maximum acoustic comfort
The silica hybrid compound maximizes braking performance. Thanks to the use of highly dispersed silica and improved rubber mixing technology, optimum material homogeneity is ensured. OGCT technology (Optimized Ground Contact Technology). Optimized contact patch improves pressure uniformity and rides performance
Main features of Hankook H452 Ventus S1 Noble 2
- good lateral stability is mediated by the structure and arrangement of the blocks of the inner shoulder region of the tire;
- solid rib allows to maintain the noise level in the cabin within normal ranges;
- blocks of the outer shoulder area with three-dimensional sipes and the presence of edges provide reliable grip on the road surface;
- developed drainage system provides instant moisture removal from the contact patch zone.
