NeoTires

Fuzion Touring A/S tires are designed to fit all types of passenger cars except for heavy crossovers, SUVs, minivans, and pickups. This model is designed to operate mainly in urban conditions and mild winters with small periods of frost and snowfall.

Performance Features of the Fusion Touring tire:

  •     The non-directionally symmetric tread pattern ensures excellent dynamics, traction, and traction in all winter conditions.
  •     The double central stiffening rib is made using racing slick technology to increase the speed and acceleration performance of the car.
  •     The lateral stiffeners are, in fact, a continuation of the shoulder macroblocks. This arrangement increased the directional stability of the machine by leveling the axial displacements arising during high-speed maneuvering and reduced the braking distance of the machine on dry and wet roads.
  •     The drainage system of the Fuzion Touring tire is formed by a network of four deep longitudinal channels and a large number of slightly curved wide transverse grooves, through which water in the largest volumes is removed from the contact area with the tread with the road surface. The efficiency of the drainage system is sufficient to reliably block the aquaplaning of the vehicle on a wet road.
  •     Rectangular macroblocks, which make up the shoulder areas of the tread, are spaced apart from each other by wide transverse grooves. They increase the level of maneuverability of the car, effectively compensate for the peripheral loads arising during high-speed maneuvering, increase the accuracy of the car's cornering and improve acoustic comfort while driving.
  •     The use of silicone additives to formulate the rubber compound has improved the wear resistance of the Fusion Touring tire and reduced the rolling resistance coefficient for greater fuel economy.

Designed to take you from point A to point B in a complete lack of style. Fuzion pretty much epitomizes the message that style is overrated. I accidentally sell a lot of these tires, and what I hear from my customers is that Fuzions are often exactly what they want: a good tire at a great price.

Pros

  •     Good build quality
  •     Unbeatable price
  •     Smooth and comfortable ride

Cons

  •     Moderate and low clothing

Technology

Fuzion uses a technology that is now pretty much the industry standard for vanilla. Double steel belts in a nylon sheath hide in a silica gel-coated tread compound. Silica rubber compounds are the new gold standard in the rubber compounding industry because silica slows down rubber wear, allowing softer, more resilient rubber tires to be made without the high wear problems used to poison soft rubber compounds.

The tread has serrated ribs and tread slots that provide biters for wet and snow traction. Four circumferential grooves quickly drain water. Several stiffening ribs are located between the grooves, which increase stability and smooth handling.

The Fusion was not going to have much success on the autocross circuit, but then they were never meant to be.

On the street, however, they are pretty much the epitome of "fatigue." The dry and wet clutch are both pretty good. They feel stable and confident in the rain, and it is difficult to stand on a seaplane in still water. Snow traction is well below average; it is by no means an all-season type of snow.

Fuzion feels solid, maybe even a little harsh, but smooth on the highway. The steering response isn't quick at all, but they go where you point them. It’s relatively easy to forget that tires do a lot of things; they disappear very easily as a kind of background noise. If we were talking about, say, Potenza RE-11, that would be bad. For Fuzion's target market, this is arguably the best thing. These are the tires you get when you don't want to think about your tires.

The essence

On the one hand, these tires occupy a very important niche. At less than $ 100 per tire, few tires are cheaper, and the smaller one still has the level of quality that Fuzions boasts at this price point. An inexpensive tire is rarely worth it if you have to worry about whether the sidewalls will hold up or you will get 10,000 miles of belt break.

When it comes to basic tires for daily commuting, there aren't many better choices.
