A tread that was computer optimized and designed to reduces vibrations also reduces road noise and provides a more comfortable drive.

The touring all season construction of the tire is built to provide dependable performance while being available at an affordable price for budget conscious drivers.

Increased dry and wet traction is provided by an all season tread compound and computer phased tread design, while at the same time delivering a more quiet and comfortable ride quality. In order to enhance wet grip and reduce hydroplane risks three circumferential grooves and angled grooves were introduces in the design of the tire.

Some of the Pros of these tires are excellent dry and wet grip, comfortable and quiet ride, and durable and long lasting tread. Nonetheless one of the cons would be winter traction.

Overall Thoughts

One aspect in which Tiger Paw AWP II can pride themselves in is that they are the sixth generation tires from the manufacturer Uniroyal tires, which has been making tires for many years. That alone speaks for itself, however, it doesn’t change the fact that this tire is a solid performing all season model.

This tire is pretty well dry and wet traction. The steering wheel is responsive throughout the speed range and it also holds the road very confidently. You’ll also enjoy the comfortable quiet ride this model provides. One area that we could see improvement in would be winter traction and handling. Getting through deeper snow and ice can sometimes be problematic in the case of most AS tires.

Nonetheless, this is one of Uniroyal’s best performing tires. It is also the one that features a lower price than many similar competitors in its class. It is definitely a tire that we can recommend. Tiger Paw AWP II is a practical off road all weather tire. In terms of performance, itis not inferior to other tires presented in a similar price category. Verdict - great tires, which we recommend for purchase!

By Bones - 5.0 out of 5 stars “Good Budget Tires

Put these on a 1986 Toyota Pickup, they mount and balance fine. This is my second set of these tires, my first set lasted 5 years (35,000 miles) which worked for me for the price point. My first set however went out of balance soon after I had purchased them and had to have them balanced again (twice total), but after that tires were fine. They do pick up rocks and get stuck in the tread, it's minimal but noticeable, but that doesn't bother me, the paws like the rocks.

By Rod Austin - 5.0 out of 5 stars “Good Tire

The overall quality of the tires looks good. Can't speak with any experience other than to say, the description clearly states, "made in u.s.a"... yet on the tire, it says "made in Mexico". Clearly labeled with the picture I sent. The height of the tire after mounting and proper inflation is 25.2 tall. The width of the White sidewall is .625 (5/8) inch

By Brooklyn Mom - 5.0 out of 5 stars “Great tire, white wall, handles great

Look great on my 1966 Chevy Corvair Monza. They handle great and I did notice that steering is easier with these tires than the Coopers I had previously. Corvairs only came with manual steering and tire pressures in the front must be lower than in the rear, so this is an appreciated bonus. Another good thing is the white wall, 1960s cars look much better with them.

By Derek Schanz - 5.0 out of 5 stars “Fantastic ride quality with whitewalls for the classic car!

Classic car tires are getting harder to come by with white walls, and for the ones you do find, they are expensive! I'm talking at least $150 - $200 per tire! These were less than $100 and the ride quality was fantastic on my 1979 Buick Riviera. I was always a Michelin guy but wanted to give these a try based on reviews. The ride is extremely quiet, soft, but not overly soft when cornering (though I'm not hitting them hard in a '79 Buick), but I'm most satisfied with the handling in wet weather. They seem to hold the road very well. I can't comment about their snow/ice quality as I don't drive my car in winter, but I would definitely make this my replacement go-to when they wear. If you own a classic car and want a tire with white walls (getting harder and harder to find), you need to look at these! Most classic cars have tires that are dry-rotting. My old tires were 10+ years old, which manufacturers say should be replaced due to safety concerns and eventual tread separation from the belts themselves (despite how much tread looks to be left) - think of a rubber band as it ages, cracks, and eventually breaks - that's your car tire. These are awesome classic car tires and will be my go-to until they stop making them! Couldn't be happier. I've owned these for six months if it helps anyone.
