I ordered these for a Lincoln Town Car that is used as a summer pleasure cruiser. Considering that a decent percentage of this size is going on Town Cars I don't understand why the narrow white wall in only offered. People want what came with the car in its day. Many consumer reviews have said the white isn't very white, more like a greywall and I would agree with that. We buy these tires specifically because they are a whitewall. The full size whitewall would certainly give the full retro look. Unfortunately 17" whitewalls are almost impossible to find and even the specialty store like Coker don't stock 17" and they are expensive. Only been driving on these tires for a short time but they drive well, road noise isn't bad and will see for treadlife but I only drive this car about 5000kms a year so mileage isn't my primary concern. The small whitewall and colour of the white are disappointing but most should be aware before purchasing of the smaller width whitewall. Good enough for what I paid and what I will be using them for.
