Sumitomo Tour PLUS LS Tire
The Sumitomo Tour Plus LS was engineered in order to provide an all-season traction experience in dry, wet, or any other winter-like conditions, at the same time providing a comfortable and long-lasting tread life. Designed for coupes, sedans, crossovers, and of course minivans, the tire is available in the T, H and V-speed rated sizes.
With the advanced all-season carbon black compound of the tread and its symmetric pattern, the LS can use its technologically optimized design which provides increased year-round traction. The tire’s improved shoulder blocks can enhance dry or wet cornering traction on any type of road surface. A modernized and continuous center rib will provide an added steering response through braking stability, as a more quiet ride in the meantime.
The four circumferential channels groove away water in wet/slush-covered road conditions while reducing any risk of hydroplaning in tough weather conditions. The added sipes around the tire will provide a biting edge effect that can deliver additional traction and handle on snowy surfaces.
Inside the tire, there will be found two steel belts and Sumitomo's Jointless Nylon-Band tech which strengthens the tire profile and provides improved durability and tread life. The polyester cord body will increase ride comfort. Sumitomo includes up to an 85 thousand-mile tread warranty on this model and is available in sizes ranging from 13-18 inches.
