Very noisy and lots of hydroplaning.

I have had these tires on two different vehicles and they have been great. A Saturn and a chevy pickup.

Not sure why they are so terrible. Could have been a bad year.

Extremely noisy. Getting worse every day. Sounds like off road knobby truck tires. May have long tread wear but who wants to send 80,000 mile drive with horrendous road noise. Have to have radio at maximum before I no longer hear the rumble., and I’m not kidding.

Tires rude very nicely, however I’ve lost over 10% on my mpg (50 to 44) and they whine a bit at higher speeds.

Bought this when it got discount at 130 off for a set.
This is probably the best tires i have used on my prius, The car feel more solid and less vibration compare to bridgestone ecopia i had before. It outperformed all type on most aspect except on MPG, i noticed my avg mpg drop 2-3mpg. Before i purchased this tires, i ask Michelin CS about the different than the predecessor Michelin defender, the new model has higher tread rating and load. The predecessor were highly rated on tire-rack. Check tire-rack for reviews and test result for defender XT. the tread looks almost identical.
I am happy with this purchased and hope it will last just like it advertise 80k miles.

Michelin is always a good idea when it comes to having a safe and soft car on road. I bought my Michelin tires last year on my Mercedes E-class and was a little disappointed because of their hardness. I had a feeling that I drove a Chrysler rather a Mercedes :). But, to my surprise, they stabilized my car and performed safely on the roads. Not sure if I will or will not buy such tires again.

Having this Michelin tire for 4 years. They can get only 50.000 km on my van. not much tread left (Wheel balancing done) Worn evenly. Tire was rate get 130.000 km??? Michelin over rating their tire! We are in Vancouver Canada, one winter, when there is snow & ice on read. Just little uphill, tires can not get the van up the hill! left van on road for couple of days!!! Not as good as they rate their tires.

These are not the tires for a Toyota Sienna!! Vehicle rode hard and bouncey no matter the tire pressure or conditions. Hard to handle bordering on unsafe. Swapped them for Michelin Premier and was much, much better. These X-Tours or Defender T & H (equivalents) should not never have been specified by Michelin for a Toyota Sienna. Come on Michelin - do your homework!!
