    Purchsed a set of Forceum Octa 235/50R18 ZR 101Y XL A/S High Performance All Season Tires and recently experienced a defect in one of the tires with less than 1000 miles on it. I intiated a warranty claim through the manufacturer and haven't heard back...........it has been over five weeks. The warrabty on these tied is useless and that is why they sell for a lot less than name brand tires.

    I purchased these tires for Summer use(dry/wet) and will not be using them in the Winter months. The tread pattern resembles some other aggressive Summer tires and I seriously question this tire's ability to perform on snow covered roads. They are smooth and quiet but not totally silent. The wide channels seems to disperse water pretty efficiently as I've had no issues with lateral/braking traction in the rain. On dry roads, they grip almost as well as Summer performance tires with only a small amount of tread squirm. I'm obviously uncertain of their longevity but the manufacturer's lack of tread life warranty tells me that these are going to wear out fairly fast.
