Yokohama Avid Ascend LX are all-season touring tires developed for passenger cars, minivans, SUVs, and crossovers, which are characterized by reliable grip on wet and snowy surfaces, smooth running, low noise, and high mileage. New for 2019, initially targeting the North American market.
The American division of Yokohama Tire Corporation has introduced the new Yokohama AVID Ascend LX premium all-season touring tire for passenger cars, minivan, and crossovers with wheels ranging from 15 to 18 inches. The novelty offers longer tread life, superior wet grip, reliable winter grip, and a quiet, smooth ride.
“The Ascend LX complements our AVID range and is the most advanced touring tire to date,” said Bob Abram, senior manager of consumer product planning at Yokohama. "It gives people what they want: exceptional all-season grip and comfort, backed by an unprecedented 85,000 miles guaranteed."
In addition, the wide, flat contour provides a large contact area in which pressure is distributed more evenly and uneven wear is avoided.

The Yokohama AVID Ascend LX touring all-season tire is manufactured at the Yokohama plant in Salem, Virginia. The novelty will be available in 39 standard sizes from 185 / 60R15 84H to 235 / 45R18 94V.
