NeoTires

The Maxxis M8090 Creepy Crawler tire is an off-road model. It features an aggressive tread design, increased wear resistance, and excellent flotation in all conditions. All this has been achieved through many years of experience and the latest technological advances in the field of tire production. This tire was specially designed for use in the most difficult conditions.

Due to the optimally selected blocks and the distances between them, the tire has excellent self-cleaning properties, as well as increased cross-country ability on soft sand, loose soil, rocky terrain, and mud. The increased width of the tread allows it to perfectly pass sharp and slippery places. Also, the Maxxis M8090 tire has increased protection against external damage typical of rocky terrain. The diagonal structure of the tire and the additional tread located on the sidewall ensure safe driving at reduced pressure. In this case, the contact patch with the road surface is doubled.

Also, a big plus is its low cost. The specially developed rubber compound provides the tire with excellent grip and increased durability. Two central rows of blocks provide excellent directional stability. A large number of lamellas allowed for a reduced noise effect.

The Creepy Crawler M8090 rubber features an aggressive pattern and a diagonal design. The composition of the rubber compound is adapted to any weather conditions and retains its durability both at high temperatures and in sub-zero weather.

Tread

Symmetrical non-directional pattern received one pronounced longitudinal groove in the center of the tire. Large blocks are located at a great distance from each other. They are distinguished by a multi-layered structure with sharp cuts. This allows the design to quickly self-clean from sticky dirt and stones.

The center axle is involved in maintaining directional stability and accurate response to driver commands.

The position of the tread, verified by the method of computer simulation, allows the tire to bite into soft ground, demonstrating high traction characteristics, and showing confident directional stability on rocky terrain.

The large distance between the blocks and their large structure makes it possible to avoid aquaplaning.

Frame

The diagonal structure of the tire gives the tire incredible durability. According to car owners, the sidewalls live ‘forever’ and are not afraid of any obstacles. Even pressure distribution extends the life of the Creepy Crawler M8090.

Comfort

The model demonstrates an average level of comfort. The noise, especially on asphalt, is high, but the ride is quite smooth even on hard surfaces. Due to the increase in strength, the tire lost its speed characteristics. The manufacturer does not recommend accelerating more than 65 mph.

Hidden aggression

An interesting fact: for narrow, high-profile sizes, tire workers often create a special version of the tread, which differs from the main one in a smaller number of rows of blocks. In the case of MT, this makes the pattern eviler and better adapted to heavy clay than the basic version of the tires. In the case of the MaxxisCreepy Crawler M-8090, they did not do this, obviously, having decided that there was enough aggression in the tread already. They just proportionally reduced the size of the checkers of the central rows of the treadmill. But the size of the extreme lugs was kept practically unchanged. These huge "fangs" in relation to the overall width have become the main off-road weapon of the model in this standard size.

Main features of the Maxxis M8090 Creepy Crawler tire

- aggressive tread pattern provides the tire with all the necessary performance characteristics that are required in difficult road conditions;

- large massive blocks and a large distance between them provide excellent self-cleaning and passability;

- a special rubber compound has increased wear resistance and adhesion to any road surface;

- the use of a reinforced cord increased the tire's ability to withstand loads.
